He has been a passionate collector for more than 3 decades. He has participated in several state, national and international philatelic exhibitions. He has travelled extensively in the love of philately. He has conducted several workshops, guest lectures on various topics in Philately.
Ramu is a Member of Karnataka Philatelic Society, South Indian Philatelic Association, Philatelic Society of India, Philatelic Congress of India, Life member of Royal Philatelic Society London.
